Kim Jerrick
Owner/Certified Pilates Instructor
With a rich history in the arts, and a passion for fitness and dance, Kim was raised in Dundee, Illinois, and currently resides in Geneva, Illinois.  Kim’s enthusiasm and interest in the creative arts and dance began in her early years when she attended the Interlochen Arts Academy in Michigan during her high school years.  Kim also studied at Hubbard Street Dance Chicago with a full scholarship.  In 1991, Kim joined River North Dance Chicago as a company member.  After performing with world-renowned singer and performer Diana Ross at the 1994 World Cup opening ceremonies, Kim moved to Los Angeles, where she discovered Pilates, and decided to combine her passion and experience for dance with Authentic Pilates.  Kim worked alongside one of Jospeh Pilates’s protégé’s Romana Kryzanowska, and received her certification in Romana’s Pilates (Authentic Pilates) in 1999.  Kim also studied Pilates under Master Teachers Sari Mejia Santo and Juanita Lopez.  In 2000, Kim opened her own Pilates studio - the Pilates Center at Total Body Dynamics, Inc. - in St. Charles, Illinois, where her devoted clients benefit from world-class training and instruction in a friendly, comfortable environment.  Clients also know Kim as a devoted animal lover and often enjoy visits with her two dogs, Gunner and Ty. 

Judith Chitwood
Certified Pilates Instructor
Judith has been teaching Pilates at Total Body Dynamics since 2003 and is a Professor of Dance at Northern Illinois University, with prior teaching tenures at the University of Cincinnati and Kansas State University.  Like Kim, Judith is also a Certified Pilates Instructor in Romana’s Pilates working under the Master Teachers Romana Kryzanowska, Sari Mejia Santo, and Juanita Lopez.  She earned her undergraduate and graduate degrees at the University of Cincinnati – College Conservatory of Music studying under David McLain, Oleg Sabline and also studied the world-renowned Lester Horton dance technique under James Truitte.  An accomplished performer, Judith was a member of the Cincinnati/New Orleans Ballet Company, a guest artist with MOMENTA Dance Company and a guest artist in many performances throughout Chicago.   She is a member of the International Association of Dance Medicine and Science, Illinois Association of Health, Physical Education, Recreation and Dance, American College Dance Festival Association.  Judith also serves on the board of directors for the Doris Humphrey Society in Oak Park, Illinois.
